Under My Skin

Under My Skin is an 8-minute group piece created in August 2026 with the dance class of Wenhua Senior High School in Taichung, Taiwan. Shihya Peng led the creation with the students over five days, to original music by Alex Bouvier.
The group breathes and moves in synchrony, and the bodies tune to a single frequency.
Beneath the surface, differences quietly drift.
Between shedding and becoming, what we call "I" still dwells within the body.
